Affect vs Effect

I'm just putting this here so I can always get to it.

AFFECT/EFFECT
Affect: usually a verb meaning to influence
Effect: usually a noun meaning result or aid
Correct: If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, you probably loved the special effects.
Usage tip.... Something must affect something to have an effect on it.

Affectations sometimes effect what we do.
